Awards: Big Ten Distinguished Scholar ... Academic All-Big Ten. Season: Made seven appearances in relief, pitching 3.2 innings. At No. 1 TCU (2/17): Made collegiate debut in season opener, getting an out and surrendering one hit in first career appearance. At Sacramento State (3/10): Pitched 2/3 of an inning in relief and gave up one run while earning first two career strikeouts. Ohio State (4/9): Made Big Ten debut, allowing one run in one inning of work. Minnesota (5/7): Pitched a career-high 1.1 innings and did not allow a hit.

Pitched a perfect inning of relief in the finale of the Cuba Baseball Friendship Tournament at Matanzas.
