Awards: Collected Academic All-Big Ten honors.
Season: Made nine appearances…Threw 11.2 innings...Graduated in May 2021 with bachelor's degree in communications arts & sciences.
Game-By-Game: vs. Northwestern (3/6): Struck out two in two innings. vs. Purdue (4/11): Threw 1.2 innings and struck out one. at Iowa (5/8): Registered a scoreless inning. Rutgers (5/16): Pitched a scoreless frame.
2020 (REDSHIRT JUNIOR)
Awards: Selected Academic All-Big Ten.
Season: Led team with two saves…Tied for team leads with two wins and five appearances…Posted a 1.42 ERA…Struck out seven in 6.1 innings and walked only one…Season canceled on March 12 after 15 games due to COVID-19 pandemic.
vs. NJIT (2/15): Earned first Penn State save, working a perfect inning on just 11 pitches. vs. Wagner (2/23): Struck out two in one inning to earn win. vs. Princeton (3/1): Earned second save working 1.1 scoreless innings. vs. Fairleigh Dickinson (3/8): Earned win striking out three over 2.1 inning, yielding one earned run.
2019 (SOPHOMORE)
Season: Went 2-1 in 13 relief appearances.
vs. Monmouth (2/17): Made Penn State and NCAA Division I debut...Worked 0.2 innings, striking out one and allowing one run on a walk. Minnesota (3/24, G2): Worked through a scoreless inning on just four pitches. Binghamton (3/26): Earned first career win with 2.2 innings of relief, striking out three. Maryland (4/26): Struck out two and did not allow an earned run in one inning of work. at Ohio State (5/11, G1): Struck out one and allowed just a hit in a scoreless inning. Mount St. Mary’s (5/14): Earned the win with three innings of scoreless relief, striking out two and allowing just a hit.
2018 (POLK STATE - REDSHIRT FRESHMAN)
Pitched 38.1 innings over 27 appearances and two starts...Struck out 38 and tallied three saves...Posted an 0-2 record and 3.99 ERA.
2017 (KENTUCKY - FRESHMAN)
Did not appear.
HIGH SCHOOL
Missed the 2014 high school season after fracturing his spine in two places in an ice skating fall that left him in a back brace for 23 hours a day for six months...Spent the 2015 season slowly working his way back from the injury before enrolling at Williston Northampton...Finished the 2016 season with 43 strikeouts in 30 innings of work, allowing just 13 hits with a 2.05 earned run average.
