Penn State baseball alum Shea Sbranti enters his third season as Penn State baseball’s Director of Player Personnel in 2022, assisting with the daily administration of the program.
A native of Oakley, California, Sbranti transferred to Penn State following two seasons at San Joaquin Delta College.
As a junior for the Nittany Lions in 2018, he ranked second on the team with a .373 on-base percentage and fourth with 19 RBIs after playing in 39 games with 38 starts combined at first base (33) and designated hitter (5). Injuries limited his 2019 campaign to 25 games and 20 starts, but he managed to slug .403 with three home runs.
