Andrew Sanders is an Athletic Performance Coach at Penn State University, where he works primarily with the baseball and men’s tennis programs. He joined the Nittany Lions staff in January 2024, bringing a strong background in collegiate athletic performance and athlete development.
Prior to Penn State, Andrew served as an Athletic Performance Coach at Siena College from 2019 to 2024, where he worked closely with multiple varsity programs to enhance performance, reduce injury risk, and support long-term athlete development. His professional experience also includes strength and conditioning internships at Indiana University, Bucknell University, and University of Connecticut.
Andrew earned his bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from Penn State in 2013 and later completed a master’s degree in sport psychology from Capella University. He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and is passionate about integrating physical preparation with mental performance to help athletes perform at their highest level.
