2023 Cross Country
Season: Competed in six meets for the Nittany Lions in her first cross country season, including the Big Ten and NCAA Championships.
 
Dolan Duals (9/1): Clocked a 14:10.8 setting her personal best for the 4K…Placed sixth. Lehigh Paul Short Invitational (9/30):  Set personal best of 21:34.6 in the 6K. Big Ten Championships (10/27): Clocked a 22:45.1 in the 6K, placing sixth on the team. NCAA Championships (11/18): Posted a 22:03.9 in the 6K race, her first trip to the national meet.
 
2023 Outdoor
Season: In her first collegiate outdoor season, finished 16^th in the Big Ten conference in the 1500.
 
Hurricane Collegiate Invitational (3/25): Clocked a 4:29.39 in the 1500 in her first collegiate race. Bison Outdoor Classic (4/14-16): Posted a 2:11.27 in the 800, finishing eighth…Improved her time in the 1500, going 4:27.15 for 13^th place. Big Ten Outdoor Championships (5/12-14): Ran a 4:23.17 personal-best mark in the 1500, finishing 16^th in the conference to close out her true freshman season.

PRIOR TO PENN STATE
Ran cross country and track and field at Morgantown High School...Named 2019 Gatorade West Virginia Girls Runner of the Year after winning AAA individual and team state championship title in cross country...Won two additional cross country team state championships for three total in high school career...Won state track and field team championship in 2022.

Parents are Judy and Dean Hatcher...Has siblings, Samantha and Ben...Sister Samantha competed in cross country/track & field at West Virginia from 2018-22...Enrolled in Division of Undergraduate Studies.
