2023 Cross Country
Season: Ran an incredible race at the Big Ten Championships, finishing as Penn State’s fifth finisher and helping her team to a fourth-place final standing in the conference.
 
Dolan Duals (9/1): Clocked a 15:03.6 over 4K in her first cross country race as a Nittany Lion. Harry Groves Spiked Shoe Invitational (9/8): Ran a 22:19.3 6K PR, finishing 27^th overall in her first home meet in the Blue & White. Big Ten Cross Country Championships (10/27): Performed brilliantly, picking up her teammates to finish as Penn State’s fifth scoring finisher and helping the Nittany Lion women secure fourth in the Big Ten.
 
2023 Outdoor
Season: Entered the season as a mid-year freshman, competing in the 3,000, 5,000, and 10,000-meter runs for the first time in her collegiate career.
 
Bison Outdoor Classic (4/14-16): Ran a 16:57.85 in the 5K, finishing 11^th overall. Virginia Challenge (4/20-22): Clocked a 35:41.68 over 10,000 meters in her first race at the distance. Jim Thorpe Invitational (5/5): Finished first in the 3,000-meter run in a personal-best 9:53.60.
 
BEFORE PENN STATE
Ran cross country and track & field at Clarence High School…Was a cross country state qualifier during her time at Clarence…Named a Buffalo Scholar-Athlete.

Daughter of Theodore and Robin Costich…Has two brothers: Max and Sam, and one sister: Ella…Studying finance…Cousin Cara Costich runs track and cross country at Cornell, cousins Maggie and Molly Costich play soccer at the University of Chicago…Chose Penn State because “It is a great place with a great community and great education.”
