Niagara (10/22): Tallied one assist in a 6-2 victory. vs. No. 6 North Dakota (10/30): Scored his first goal as a Nittany Lion in a 6-4 victory during the 2021 US Hockey Hall of Fame Game at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee. at Ohio State (11/5): Collected one assist in a 5-2 loss. No. 2 Michigan (11/11): Scored the lone goal in a 5-1 defeat. BEFORE PENN STATE
Spent the first three seasons of his collegiate career at Colorado College…Registered 17 goals and 33 assists for 50 points in 97 games…Finished second on the team with 11 points on four goals and seven helpers in 22 games during the 2020-21 season…Played two seasons in the USHL for the Waterloo Blackhawks racking up 26 goals and 57 assists in 130 games from 2016-2018…Spent the 2014-15 and 2015-16 seasons at Edina High School in Minnesota where he was a teammate of current Nittany Lion defenseman Clayton Phillips from 2014-16…Scored 15 goals while adding 26 assists for 41 points in 27 games during his final season at Edina in 2015-16.

Son of Jennifer and Rob Copeland…Has a younger sister, Nicole…His father, Rob, played Division I hockey at the University of Notre Dame graduating in 1992…Majoring in political science.
