Started in all 17 games, earning the Ensign C. Appeared and started in 15 games...Earned USILA All-American Third Team and All-CAA First Team honors...Made 167 saves with a 7.93 GAA and .584 save percentage in over 900 minutes of game time...Named CAA Player of the Week after an 18-save effort in a 4-3 win over No. 3 Notre Dame (2/18)...Ranked sixth in NCAA for save percentage (.584) and tenth for saves per game (11.13)...Collected 32 ground balls and six caused turnovers...Recorded 10 or more saves on nine occasions as Penn State went 6-3 in those games.
AS A FRESHMAN IN 2011:
Appeared in 14 games, started 13 contests and led the Nittany Lions to a 7-7 record...Earned USILA Honorable Mention All-America honors and garnered All-CAA First Team and CAA All-Rookie Team recognition...Named the conference[apos]s Rookie of the Year...Led the NCAA in save percentage (.635) and saves per game (13.64) and ranked 10th in goals-against average (7.90)...Tallied an NCAA-high 25 saves in a 8-7 victory against No. 10 UMass on March 19...Added 37 ground balls and two caused turnovers...Named CAA Co-Player of the Week on March 21 and was a three-time CAA Rookie of the Week selection (Feb. 21, March 7, March 21).
BEFORE PENN STATE:
Three-year starter at Springfield-Delco High School..Earned All-Delco Player of the Year honors as a senior after posting a .710 save percentage, collecting 263 saves and allowing four goals per game...Named an All-American and garnered all-state recognition...Captured a league title...Served twice as captain...Earned the school[apos]s Presidential Award.
