The main priority of our sport camp programs is the health, safety and well-being of our participants, student-athletes, coaches, and staff. 

All potential applicants to our youth residential programs are encouraged to regularly check our updated information and expectations, which may be subject to change.

The Participant Form must be completed online two weeks prior to the first day of camp.

Lacrosse Instructional Day Camp
July 20-21
Grades 3-9

The Lacrosse Instructional Day Camp is open to students entering grades 3-9 next fall. This is a day camp only.  Housing will not be available.

The Lacrosse Instructional Day Camp includes stick-work practices, solid instruction, and games that will focus on offensive and defensive strategies to help the players further refine their skills. 

Goalies will be provided with the use of specialized drills and individual instruction to enhance skill development in the cage. Solid instruction will focus on strategies to help goalies further refine their skills in game-like situations.

Fee:  $250 (includes instruction, camp shirt, no housing)
***DAY CAMP ONLY/NO HOUSING

Meals:  NOT provided.  Bring your own snacks to stay energized during camp and a water bottle to refill during camp. Gatorade & water will be provided. 


 

Prospect Camp
July 22
Grades 10 and 11

The Lacrosse Prospect Camp is open to students entering grades 10-11 next fall.

The Prospect Camp is a competitive camp designed for more advanced players who are serious about preparing for play at the collegiate level. The camp will focus on skill development and full field concepts.  Sessions will include skill development, drills, and team methods that our Penn State players use to develop their game.  The camp will be limited to 96 players from the high school graduating classes of 2028 and 2029. 

Enrollment will consist of 24 Attackmen, 28 Midfielders, 28 Defensemen/LSMs, 8 FOGOs and 8 Goalies.
 
Features of the Prospect Camp

  • Instruction by Penn State Coaching Staff and Players
  • Full Field Games
  • Sports Health Staff available for instruction and all games

Fee: $225 (includes instruction, camp shirt, games, no housing)

Accommodations

Participants are responsible for their own housing arrangements. A list of hotels, as well as additional information and maps, can be found HERE. 

What to Bring for Camp
Campers should bring their own lacrosse sticks, helmets, arm and shoulder pads, gloves, cleats, sneakers and mouth guards. Turf shoes or cleats are recommended. Goalies should bring all the necessary gear (chest protectors and throat guards). Also, campers should bring a water bottle to refill during camp.
