Penn State head coach Jeff Tambroni announced the addition of John Hogan as a volunteer assistant for the Nittany Lions in July 2017.
Hogan played college lacrosse at Cornell from 2012 through 2015, helping the Big Red to three consecutive Ivy League championships from 2013 to 2015. He earned second-team All-Ivy League honors in his junior and senior seasons and was named the 2015 J.E.B. Sportsmanship Award Winner in 2015.
Hogan comes to Penn State after coaching stints with St. Ignatius College Prep, NXT Lacrosse and the Annapolis Hawks. During these roles, Hogan served as a mentor for student-athletes while working on drills and scenarios for his teams. Additionally, Hogan worked on individual skill development with student-athletes.
