2022 • REDSHIRT SOPHOMORE SEASON
Season: Played in nine games, including one as a starter...Finished with eight points on five goals and three assists...Added four ground balls and one caused turnover.

Lafayette (2/5): Tallied one assist and one ground ball. Yale (2/26): Picked up one ground ball. at Bucknell (3/15): Scored two goals. Maryland (3/27): Finished with one assist, two ground balls and one caused turnover. at Johns Hopkins (4/16): Scored one goal. at Rutgers (4/22): Finished with two goals and one assist.

2021 • REDSHIRT FRESHMAN SEASON
Season: Returned from an injury to play the final four games of the season, including three as a starter...Finished with four points on three goals and one assist while adding five ground balls...Had a season-high two goals in an overtime win against Michigan (4/16) and a season-high three ground balls in a win at Ohio State (4/24). 

Rutgers (4/10): Tallied a goal and an assist. Michigan (4/16): Scored two goals and picked up one ground ball. at Ohio State (4/24): Picked up a season-high three ground balls. Johns Hopkins (5/1): Contributed one ground ball.

2020 • FRESHMAN SEASON
Season: Took a medical redshirt...Played in one game…Caused one turnover…The 2020 season was canceled March 12 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
 
Lafayette (2/1): Caused one turnover in his collegiate debut.
 
PRIOR TO PENN STATE
Was New Jersey's all-time leader in points (558) and goals (392) while also adding 166 assists in four years at Manasquan High School...Ranked as the No. 15 best recruit by Inside Lacrosse...Earned All-America honors all four years...Was a three-time first team all-state selection, a two-time Shore Conference Player of the Year and a one-time Lax Records Player of the Year....Led New Jersey in points and goals in 2018 and 2019...Led team to three state titles and three Shore Conference titles...Led team to 77-9 record over four seasons...Played club lacrosse for Leading Edge Elite...Earned all-state honors in football while playing running back and linebacker.

Parents are Michael Birch and Stefanie Birch...Has two older brothers, Blaine and Jarrett, and one older sister, Avery...Blaine played lacrosse at University of Tampa...Jarrett played lacrosse at Furman...Enjoys fishing...Majoring in communication arts and sciences.
