Syracuse (8/29): Made first start of season in net…Collected six saves en route to Nittany Lions’ first shutout of the season. at Michigan State (10/1): Recorded shutout victory in first conference road match. at No. 22 Rutgers (10/05): Posted second-straight shutout in dominant takedown over ranked Scarlet Knights on the road. Michigan (10/10): Fended off 17 shots by Wolverines and made three saves to keep Nittany Lions undefeated in Big Ten play. No. 7 Maryland (10/26): Made two massive saves after giving up two early goals in Nittany Lions’ 3-2 comeback overtime victory to keep team in regular-season hunt. at Wisconsin (10/31): Earned fourth shutout of season as Penn State captured the 2021 Big Ten Regular Season title for first time since 2013. Michigan State (11/7): Made five saves in shutout victory over Spartans in quarterfinals of Big Ten Tournament. Michigan (11/10): Stopped four shots in second consecutive shutout win in Big Ten Tournament play…Helped Nittany Lions advance to second-straight tournament championship match. No. 17 Indiana (11/14): Recorded six saves, including multiple massive saves in second half, to propel Nittany Lions to Big Ten Tournament title over Hoosiers for first time since 2005…Extended shutout streak to four games…Allowed no goals during Big Ten Tournament as Penn State’s seven-goal margin was best in tournament history.
2020-21 • SOPHOMORE SEASON
Awards: Earned second-team All-Big Ten honors...Named Big Ten Co-Defensive Player of the Week after posting his third-straight shutout in net (3/30).
Season: Played and started 11 games in between the pipes...Held a 1.05 goals-against average and 0.782 save percentage...Totaled 43 saves on the season...Recorded three shutouts on the season in three consecutive games...Made season-high seven saves in NCAA Tournament game against UMass (5/2)...Had a 8-1-2 record in net.
Rankings: Finished second in the Big Ten and top 50 nationally (49) with a 0.782 save percentage...Finished second in the league and 20th in the nation with 43 total saves.
No. 21 Maryland (2/19): Made four saves en route to Nittany Lions’ season-opening win. Rutgers (3/15): Returned to starter role in between the pipes after missing previous two games due to injury...Recorded three saves. at Northwestern (3/19): Posted first shutout of season in overtime road victory. Ohio State (3/23): Registered second-straight shutout...Tallied five saves, his season-high in a Big Ten Conference game. Wisconsin (3/27): Posted third consecutive shutout. at Maryland (3/31): Played all 110 minutes in net in double-overtime draw...Made four saves, including a huge penalty kick save in the second half and another big save in the second overtime period to secure a point in conference play for Nittany Lions. vs. UMass (5/2): Made NCAA Tournament debut...Tallied season-high seven saves, all in second half as Minutemen attempted comeback. vs. No. 7 Georgetown (5/6): Recorded six saves.
2019 • FRESHMAN SEASON
Awards: Named to Big Ten All-Freshman Team.
Season: Played and started 10 games in between the pipes, splitting time with fellow goalkeeper Josh Levine…Held a 0.69 goals-against average and 0.851 save percentage, both top-11 marks in the nation…Totaled 40 saves on the season…Made season-high 10 saves against Pittsburgh (10/15)…Had a 9-1-0 record in net…Considered a top-50 freshman player by Top Drawer Soccer (No. 48).
