2022-23 Season (Freshman Year)
- Boston College/Navy (10/8): Won the 1000 Free at 9:25.51.
- Pittsburgh/Notre Dame (10/22): Swam the 500 Free at 4:31.97 for a fourth place finish on the first day of competition. Took a fourth place finish in the 1000 free at 9:26.95.
- N.C. State Invitational (11/17-19): Won the 400 IM.
- Virginia Tech (1/21): Finished second in the 400 IM at 3:59.53.
- Villanova (1/27): Placed first in the 200 Fly at 1:53.33.
- B1G Championship (2/22-25): Touched fourth in his heat of the 500 Free at 4:23.97, dropping a combined 6.85 seconds from his season best in both events. Later swam the 1560 Free at an NCAA B-Cut qualifying time of 15:22.97, walking away with a record best time and a third place finish in the second heat of the evening.
High School:
Christensen swam for Oviedo High School under the direction of coach Charlie Rose. His team placed first in the 400 Free Relay and first overall for the men's team at states. Christensen was named a five time All-American athlete as well as being the 2022 Most Valuable Player at Oviedo High School as a four time school record holder. Academically, he retained a 4.0 GPA and was named Scholastic All-American.
Personal:
Andrew is the son of Eric and Jennifer Christensen and has an older sibling. Eric was a member of the University of Florida Swimming and Diving Team. Christensen swam for the Blue Dolphins club team for 10 years (2012-2022) under the direction of coach Charlie Rose where he finished first at Senior Champs. He was also a Sectionalist, Futures and Winter Juniors finalist with the Blue Dolphins.
