• Named to CSC Academic All-District Team (2023)

2023-24 (Senior Year):

• St. Bonaventure (9/30): Recorded a first place finish in the 400 Free relay. 
• Notre Dame/Pitt (10/21): Contributed to a fifth-place finishing 400 Free relay.
• Villanova (2/2): Helped the 200 Free relay to a second place finish, and a third place finish in the 400 Free relay. 
• B1G Championship (2/29-3/2): Tallied personal best times in the 50 Free with a 20.93. Competed in the 100 Fly and the 100 Free. 

2022-23 (Junior Year)

• Blue/White (9/16): Contributed to a second place finish in the 200 Medley Relay (1:33.46). Placed fourth in the 100 Fly (53.82) and the 100 Back (53.39). 
• West Virginia (11/5): Finished sixth in the 100 Back (52.53) and eighth in the 200 Back (1:59.28). Touched seventh overall in the 100 Fly (52.29) and contributed to a fourth overall finish in the 400 Free Relay (3:08.20).
• N.C. State Invitational (11/17-19): Made it to the final races for three events. Placed 25th overall in the 100 Fly (50.00) and 28th in the 100 Back (51.46). Touched 29th in the 200 Back (1:55.28).
• Army (1/13): Placed sixth in the 100 Fly (51.61) and contributed to a fifth place finish in the 200 Free Relay (1:25.59).
• Virginia Tech (1/21): Swam for third in the 200 Free Relay (1:24.84).
• Villanova (1/27): Placed fourth overall for the 200 Fly at 1:59.68.
• Big Ten Championship (2/22-25): Competed in the 100 Fly Time Trial for a fourth place finish overall at 49.38.

2021-22 (Sophomore Year)

• Villanova (1/28): Finished second in the 100 Back (49.21) and third in the 100 Fly (50.10).

2020-21 (Freshman Year)

• Big Ten Championships (3/1-3/6): Competed in the 100 fly (49.55), 100 back (49.13), and 200 back (1:51.91) preliminary events.
• Michigan State (2/5-2/6): Won the 100 back (50.78).
• vs. Northwestern and Iowa (1/22-1/23): Secured fourth in the 200 back (1:54.95). Member of the 400 free relay team that earned fourth (3:07.78) and assisted in the 200 medley relay that swam for a fifth-place finish (1:30.47).

High School

Oberle swam four years at Mills E. Godwin High School under the direction of coaches Hayden Workman and Katrina Guantt. He was named the team captain and team MVP during his junior season with the team. He is a four-time state champion and All-American holding the 50 back, 100 back and 200 free school records as well as being a member of the 200 medley relay, 200 free relay and 400 free relay school record holding teams. . He swam club for NOVA of Virginia Aquatics.

Personal

Jacob Aaron Oberle, son of Michael and Heather Oberle has two younger brothers Nathan and Liam, and a younger sister Eliza. When not in the pool, Oberle enjoys hunting and fishing.
