2011-12 Season (RS Junior): Hasyn had a solid campaign, going 12-9 in singles and winning 4 doubles matches in the spring. In the fall, Hasyn went 5-3 in singles and 6-2 in doubles... Opened the fall season by going 2-2 at the Farnsworth/Princeton Invitational. Hasyn combined with Taylor Cohen to go a perfect 3-0 in doubles... Hasyn followed his performance at Princeton with another stellar weekend at the UVa Fall Classic, where he went 3-1 in singles and teamed with C.J. Griffin to defeat their only opponent in doubles, Norfolk State(8-4) ... Worked out of the 5 and 6 spots and went 9-2 in singles during non-conference matches. Went on streaks of three and six wins, respectively. Three match streak included a 6-3, 7-6(7-5) win against #63 Princeton[apos]s Ravi Yegya-Raman. The six non-conference match streak featured victories against Bloomsburg, Buffalo, Bucknell, Binghamton, Army, and Cornell... Combined with Cohen, Young, and Griffin to win five non-Big Ten doubles matches over St. Bonaventure, Lehigh, Bloomsburg, and Army... Won three Big Ten singles matches out of the 5 and 6 spots. Won matches against Iowa, #47 Minnesota, and Wisconsin. Defeated Minnesota[apos]s Michael Sicora 3-6, 7-6(8-6), 10-4... Paired with Griffin in tough Big Ten doubles losses against Iowa(8-9(7-9)) and Wisconsin(8-9(8-10)).
2010-11 Season (RS Sophomore): Posted a 9-11 record in spring 2011 singles play...Earned a 10-12 record in the spring 2011 doubles season...Defeated Joe Himmelsbach, 6-3, 5-6, 6-3, and Joe Michalisin (6-3, 5-7, 6-3) in the USTA Fall Invitational...Opened the spring singles season on a three match win streak, including an impressive triumph over No. 56 N.C. State[apos]s Rob Lowe, 1-6, 6-4, 13-11...Went on another three-match winning streak from Feb. 13 to Feb. 20, including a thrilling victory over No. 30 Virginia Tech[apos]s Will Beck (5-7, 7-6 (3), 6-3) in the annual Blue Gray Tournament...Picked up a Big Ten victory over Jonas Dierckx of Iowa on March 27, 6-1, 6-2...Won four of his first five spring doubles matches from Jan. 23 to Feb. 12...Teamed with Bryan Welnetz to defeated No. 56 N.C. State[apos]s Ivan Sanchez Gomez and Sean Weber, 8-7 (6), and Mirza Klis and Evan McElwain of No. 64 Cornell, 8-4, during the streak...Paired with Welnetz again to take down Navy[apos]s Jeremy New and Heyward Drayton, 8-2, on March 13...Picked up a pair of Big Ten wins against No. 23 Michigan[apos]s Chris Cha and Chris Madden (8-5) and Jason Norville and Clark Richardson of No. 60 Michigan State, 8-5.
2009-10: Redshirt season.
2008-09 (Freshman):Went 5-4 combined in the fall and spring in singles...Went 4-2 in doubles, teaming up primarily with Ryan Gormley...Finished with a Earned his first career victory over Princeton[apos]s Parker Preyer (6-2, 6-2) at the PSU Fall Classic...Won two of his first three singles matches in the spring...Defeated Saint Joseph[apos]s Patrick Cognetti (6-3, 6-1) on Jan. 24...Picked up a point for the Lions on Feb. 8 vs. Lehigh, beating Cameron Silbert (6-4, 6-2)...Won his final two singles matches on April 15, defeating Bucknell[apos]s Clark Bogle (6-1, 6-0) and Bloomsburg[apos]s Jeff Nuhfer (6-0, 6-0)...Won three doubles matches during the fall campaign...Teamed up with Jake Toole and defeated N.C. State[apos]s Julian Sullivan and David Chermak (9-8 (7-3)) at the PSU Fall Classic...Earned two victories while teaming up with Ryan Gormley at the ITA Northeast Regionals in October...Defeated Army[apos]s Tripp Johnson and Phil Muhawi to advance to the round of 32...Went on to advance to the round of 16 with a victory over Marist[apos]s Christian Coley and Rhys Hobbs...Earned a spring doubles victory teaming up with Benji Kendall over Lehigh on Feb. 8, defeating Ryan Krueger and Chris Collins (8-1).
Junior Career: Ranked in the national Top 100 during his junior career...Won two Pennsylvania State AAA championships in 2007 and 2008...Was captain for his high school team in 2007 and 2008.
