2015-16 (Junior): Lutschaunig completed a very successful season in doubles, pairing with David Kohan as the No. 1 team for the entirety and posting a 17-15 record overall. Markedly, during the fall tournament circuit, Lutschaunig and Kohan advanced to the final round of the Big Ten Indoor Championships. The pair defeated No. 65 Iowa in the quarterfinals and No. 18 Illinois in the semifinals of the Big Ten Indoor Championships in their fight to reach the final round. During spring doubles Lutschaunig had some big wins for the Lions against No. 43 Dartmouth and No. 50 Purdue.
2014-15 (Sophomore): Went 1-6 in singles and 16-13 in doubles, including 12-7 in dual matches, while combining with eight different partners... In the fall, competed at the Penn Invitational, ITA Atlantic Regional and William & Mary Invitational... Combined with Michael Reilly and Marc Collado for two doubles wins at the Penn Invitational... Paired with Nika Dolidze for a win at the ITA Atlantic Regional and a victory at the William & Mary Invitational... Defeated George Mason's Aaron Capitel, 6-4, 4-6, 6-3, at the regional... Combined with Aws Laaribi for a 6-4 win over No. 20 South Florida's Oliver Pramming and Justin Roberts, ranked 44th in the ITA Poll, to clinch the doubles point. Laaribi and Lutschaunig also teamed up in doubles point-clinching wins vs. Nebraska and No. 66 Iowa... Dolidze and Lutschaunig earned a 6-1 win at the No. 2 position vs. Temple... Lutschaunig and Roman Trkulja dominated in an 8-0 win at 3 vs. James Madison... Lutschaunig and Matt Barry claimed doubles victories vs. No. 23 Princeton, UNC Wilmington and Michigan... Paired with Alex Fennell for an 8-5 win at No. 1 vs. Wagner... Lutschaunig and Leo Stakhovsky earned wins vs. NJIT, Purdue and Monmouth.
2013-14 (Freshman): Lutschaunig did not see any singles action this spring, but combined with David Kohan to go 11-4 in doubles... Went 6-4 in singles and 8-5 in doubles this fall while competing at the Navy All-Conference Tournament, Wake Forest Invite, ITA Atlantic Regional and William & Mary Invitational... Kohan and Lutschaunig finished the fall by going 4-0 at the William & Mary Invitational... The duo won their first five matches, including victories against St. John's, #33 Virginia Tech, UMBC, Bucknell and Lehigh... They went 1-2 against #33 VCU, Penn and #1 Ohio State, but responded by going on another five-match win streak... This time, they defeated #50 Princeton, #47 South Florida, #62 UCF, Southern Miss and Michigan State... They clinched the doubles point five times this spring for the Nittany Lions.
Junior Career: Lutschaunig comes to Penn State from Richboro, Pa. He is a LaSalle College Prep alum and helped lead the school to the PIAA AAA Semifinals for the first time in school history. He was named MVP of the Philadelphia Catholic League. Lutschaunig was rated a four-star recruit and 98th-best prospect in the county by Tennisrecruiting.net. Combined with Alex Fennell to win a gold ball at the USTA Men's Open in Flushing Meadows, N.Y.
