2011-12: Lavin competed in 15 rounds during her junior season and had an 80.5 average for the season ... had a season-best round of 74 in the Pinehurst Challenge ... scored a 78 in the Western Tri-Match for third place ... tied for 48th in the Nittany Lion Invitational after carding a 159 in two rounds ... totaled a 230 in the Pinehurst Challenge to finish in the top 50, tying for 48th.
2010-11: After 16 rounds her freshman year, Lavin competed in three rounds as a sophomore...competed in the Nittany Lion Invitational, carding a career-best round of 73...finished in a tie for 41st place at the Nittany Lion Invitational.
2009-10: Lavin competed in six tournaments for the Nittany Lions in her freshman season...competed in 16 rounds, averaging 81.8 strokes-per-round...had a best round of 74 at the Spider Invitational...finished the Spider Invitational a tie for 21st place.
Junior/Amateur Career:
Lavin comes to Penn State from Deerfield, Illinois...was an Illinois State Runner-Up as a senior in 2008...placed fifth at the AJGA Summer tournament at Notre Dame this past summer and won a PGA National Qualifier as well...had three wins in junior tournaments...won th FCWT-Mission Hills tournament in December 2008, shooting 67 and 72...claimed the IHSAA Girls[apos] AA State Championship in October 2008, shooting two rounds of 73 for the crown... won the PGA Illinois Section Qualifier in June 2009, shooting rounds of 76 and 68.
