Nittany Lion Career
2018-19: Named an Academic All-Big Ten honoree... Competed in a pair of events with a career-low 76.83 stroke average in six rounds…Finished Nittany Lion Invitational (Sep. 22-23) tied for 33rd with an 11-over score of 227…Played at UCF Challenge (Feb. 3-5) finishing 18-over, 234.
2017-18: Competed in six tournaments during her junior season with a 77.56 stroke average during 18 rounds and a low-round score of 72 (E)… Placed in the top 20, tying for 16th at the William & Mary Invitational (Sep. 10-11) where she shot her season-low round of 72 (E) in the second round… Shot her second-highest tournament score of the season at the Bettie Lou Evans Invitational (Oct. 6-7) with a three-round score of 230 (plus-4)… Tied for 65th in the Big Ten Championship (Apr. 20-22) shooting 233 (plus-17) in three rounds.
2016-17: Competed in all three rounds of the Nittany Lion Invitational (Sep. 24 – 25) during her sophomore season … Achieved a low round score of 74 (+2) in the final round … Finished the season with a 78.33 stroke average.
2015-16: Played in the Nittany Lion Invitational and recorded her best score in the final round shooting 75 (+3). Taylor averaged a round score of 78 on the season.
Junior/Amateur Career
Taylor was a 4 year letter winner and first team all conference in both golf and basketball. In 2014, helped Dublin Coffman to a second place finish at districts and a third place finish at the state championships. In her only AJGA event of 2014, Taylor placed 13th with +24 in three rounds of play. Throughout highschool led golf team to 4 conference and sectional championships, 2 district championships and 3 state championship appearances.
