Why Penn State?
'Not only does Penn State excel academically, but it was important to me that the school I attend be athletically superior. I knew that the gymnastics program would be challenging but I was ready to accept that challenge. Since my family resides in the area, they could provide any additional support if necessary. My experience attending meets at Rec Hall showed me a high-energy, cohesive team who worked as one toward their goals.'
Quoting Coach Thompson
'Alex is coming off a tremendous junior year where she competed on uneven bars. She has shown consistency and determination throughout the fall and we expect her to excel for Penn State this season.'
