Jessica Burke joined the Penn State Athletic Performance staff in April 2022, and currently works with women’s lacrosse, men’s and women's gymnastics, and men’s golf.
Prior to arriving at Penn State, Burke worked as a strength and conditioning associate at Purdue University (2021), working primarily with women’s swimming, men’s tennis, and women’s basketball. Before her time at Purdue, she spent several years working in the private sector and coaching high school and club lacrosse.
Burke graduated from Indiana University with a bachelor's degree in economics (2015), and continued her education at the University of Michigan, earning her master's degree in kinesiology (2019). During her time at Michigan, she served as an intern with the Olympic sports strength and conditioning staff working primarily with men’s and women’s lacrosse, women's soccer, softball, gymnastics and water polo.
Burke is certified through the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association (CSCCa) and the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). She is originally from Lake Orion, Michigan.
