2007-08: Courtney was awarded with Academic All-Big Ten Winter Honors as a kinesiology major. She had five first-place finishes - three on the three-meter and two on the one-meter spring board. Courtney barely missed scoring for the Big Ten Championships and was similarly close to qualification for the NCAA Championships. She had one second-place finish on the year. Meet-by-Meet Highlights: Finished 24th, just out of points, with a score of 234.75 in the three-meter at the Big Ten Championships....Placed 27th on the one-meter springboard at the Big Ten Championships....Won two events in a dual meet against West Chester. Against the Golden Rams, she earned a season-high 257.87 in the one-meter and a season-high 294.07 in the three-meter....Swept the one- and three-meter springboard events in a quad meet at Pittsburgh. She tagged a 248.8 on the three....At the Georgia Diving Invitational, Courtney was 24th in the three-meter prelims before jumping up to 18th on the second day with a 232.2....Sixth-place finish in a quad-meet against Michigan State, Purdue and Virginia....Put up NCAA Zone A qualifying score with a 287.48 on the three-meter board, well above the 270 minimum. The score allowed her to win that event in a dual meet over West Virginia.
2006-07: Courtney logged her career best scores on both the one and three-meter springboards last year and came within a hair of qualifying for NCAA Championships, as she was the first alternate from Zone A for the three-meter springboard as she finished third on the three-meter board in addition to ninth on the one-meter at NCAA Zone A Championships. She had four first place finishes on the year, all on the three-meter board, and also had three second places and three thirds. Meet-by-Meet Highlights: Won the three-meter and placed second on the one-meter in the season-opening meet at West Virginia....Won the three-meter for the second straight meet and finished tied for third in the one-meter at the Clemson/Virginia/Virginia Tech/Penn State quad-meet....Finished sixth on the three-meter and eighth on the one-meter at the Purdue Duals....Compiled her highest score of the year on the three-meter board with a 306.52, her first NCAA Zone qualifying score of the year, to win that event and also finished second in the one-meter in the dual meet vs. West Chester....Advanced to the finals and finished ninth in the three-meter at the Georgia Diving Invite....Scored her highest tally of the year in the one-meter while finishing fourth and also placed third in the three-meter at the dual meet vs. Ohio State....Scored her second-highest totals of the year in both the one and three-meter events in the dual meet vs. Rutgers, winning the three and placing third in the one-meter....Finished second in the three-meter at the Shamrock Invitational with her fourth-highest score of the year....Finished 24th in the three-meter at Big Ten[apos]s....Had a strong NCAA Zone A Championship meet as she placed third in the three-meter and ninth in the one-meter.
2005-06: Courtney finished her freshman campaign strong as she compiled her best scores of the year at the Big Ten Championships in the one-meter springboard competition. She scored 258.45 in both the preliminaries and the finals of the one-meter competition at the Big Ten Championships, topping her previous best score in that event by nearly eight points. She won five competitions on the year, including one meet vs. West Chester in which she won both the one and three meter events in the same meet. She also claimed two other three-meter event titles and a one-meter event._Meet-by-Meet Highlights: Finished third in the three-meter with a score of 279.98, her third best score in the three-meter on the year, at the Indiana/Ohio State/Penn State tri-meet....Won the three-meter competition with a 279.23 and placed fourth in the one-meter event in the dual meet vs. Rutgers....Placed third in the one meter to pick up points for Penn State in the dual meet vs. St. Bonaventure....Won the three-meter event with a 271.80 and also placed fourth in the one-meter to pick up points in the dual meet at Florida....Finished 15th to pick up PSU points in the three-meter at the Ohio State Invitational....Won the one-meter with 250.50 points and the three-meter with 280.35 points in the dual meet with West Chester....Placed fourth in both the one and three-meter events in the Auburn/Purdue/Virginia/Penn State quad-meet....Finished second in both the one and three-meter events at the Arizona State/UCSB/Penn State tri-meet....Took third in both the one and three-meter at the Arizona/Wisconsin/Penn State tri-meet....Won the one-meter event at her first intercollegiate competition in the dual meet vs. West Virginia.
High School: Courtney dove at Hatboro-Horsham High School for head coaches Kig Emig and Ellen Dollarton. She won the Pennsylvania state title in the one-meter in 2005 after placing at states in each of her first three seasons of high school diving. She was sixth as a junior, third as a sophomore and fourth as a freshman. In 2004, she competed at the Junior Nationals, placing first in both the three-meter and one-meter events.
Personal: Courtney lists spending time with friends and family as her favorite hobby. She is the daughter of James and Janet Adlam and has five sisters (Jacquie, Lindsay, Nikki, Chelsea and Tory).
