• Swam in three events as part of season-opener at St. Bonaventure (10/13): 200 medlay relay (second, 1:50.76), 100 freestyle (third, 55.61) and 200 freestyle relay (1:38.60).
2008-09 (JUNIOR YEAR): Primarily participated in freestyle events, both individually and in relays ... Posted season bests in the 50 (23.76, preliminary), 100 (51.61) and 200 (1:53.69) freestyle in the Big Ten Championships ... Competed in the 200 freestyle (2:00.21), 200 freestyle relay (1:38.84) and 400 freestyle relay (3:37.35) against Ohio State ... Swam in the 100 freestyle (54.50) and 800 freestyle relay (7:41.04) against Rutgers ... Posted second-place finish in the 200 freestyle relay (1:36.92) against Villanova/Pittsburgh/Maryland while finishing fourth in the 400 freestyle relay (3:34.02) ... Posted first collegiate first-place finishes against Rutgers and West Chester in the 200 freestyle relay and had three third-place finishes ... SUMMER 2007: Swam in both the 100 and 400 freestyles at the Mid-Atlantic Senior Championships, placing 36th in the 100 and 39th in the 400. 2006-07 (FRESHMAN YEAR): Improved greatly throughout the season, swimming in the middle and distance freestyle events to garner points for Penn State in dual meets ... Swam fastest times of the year at the Big Ten Championships in three main events, the 200, 500 and 1650 freestyles ... Improved personal best time in the 1650 free by nearly 30 seconds at Big Ten's and finished 33rd ... Best finish of the year was third-place in the 1000 free vs. West Chester ... Came in seventh in the 500 free and was on the fifth-place 400 free relay team at first collegiate meet, the season-opening dual at West Virginia ... Was on the eighth-place 200 free relay team at the Clemson/Virginia/Virginia Tech quad-meet ... Finished sixth in the 1000 free in the dual meet vs. Ohio State ... Swam fastest time of the year in the 200 free and 500 free at the Shamrock Invitational. Also finished 16th in the 1650 free, one of seven Penn State swimmers to place in the top 16 in the 1650. HIGH SCHOOL: Was a four year letterwinner at Mechanicsburg High School and a two year team captain ... Also lettered in cross country and track for three years apiece ... Qualified for districts all four years and was a state qualifier in both junior and senior seasons ... As a senior, finished third in the 500 free and sixth in the 200 free at the state meet ...
