2006-07: Kimberlee made large strides in her second year of collegiate diving, as she scored at Big Ten Championships and came within a hair of qualifying for NCAA Championships. During the season, she had four first place finishes, two second place finishes and four third places, which included being named Big Ten Diver of the Week on January 30 and having the top score of the year on the team on the one-meter springboard. She also posted career high scores on both springboards. In the postseason, she turned it up even more, placing 12th on the three-meter springboard at Big Ten Championships, giving Penn State its only diving points of the meet. Then, she finished third on the one-meter board at the NCAA Zone A Championships and was the first alternate from Zone A for the one-meter. Although, she did not get to compete at NCAAs, she will now return for her fifth year and her third year of diving after competing in track and field at the beginning of her Penn State career.
Meet-by-Meet Highlights: Won the one-meter and finished second to teammate Courtney Adlam in the three-meter at the season-opening meet at West Virginia....Tied for third in the one-meter and finished seventh in the three-meter at the Clemson/Virginia/Virginia Tech/Penn State quad-meet....Finished fifth in the three-meter and sixth in the one-meter at the Purdue Duals....Scored a season-high score on the three-meter board to finish second and put up her first NCAA Zone qualifying score of the year in the one-meter as she won her second competition of the year at the dual meet vs. West Chester....Advanced to the final of the three-meter and placed 12th after finishing fifth in the prelims and tied for 15th place in the one-meter at the Georgia Diving Invite....Put up her highest score of the year on the one-meter in finishing first and also placed fourth in the three-meter in the dual meet vs. Ohio State....Followed the up by winning the one-meter for the second straight day and also placed third in the three-meter at the dual meet vs. Rutgers....Placed third in both the one and three-meter events at the Shamrock Invitational, the only diver of the meet to place in the top three in both events and was named the Big Ten Diver of the Week for her efforts.....Picked up points for Penn State at the Big Ten Championships with a 12th place finish on the three-meter board with her second-highest score of the year and finished just one spot out of the points with a 17th place finish in the one-meter....Finished third on the one-meter springboard and seventh on the three-meter board at the NCAA Zone A Championships.

2005-06: Kimberlee made the transition from the track and field team to the swimming and diving team. A successful diver during her prep days, Kimberlee returned to competitive diving for the first time in three years and won two competitions, one one-meter and one three-meter. Her victory in the three-meter came in her first meet of the year. She was also named to the Academic All-Big Ten team.
Meet-by-Meet Highlights: Finished eighth in both the one and three-meter events at the Indiana/Ohio State/Penn State tri meet....Placed fifth in the one-meter and fourth in the three-meter at the dual meet vs. Rutgers....Won the one-meter competition at the dual meet with St. Bonaventure....Finished third in the one-meter and sixth in the three-meter at the dual meet at Florida, picking up points for Penn State in both events....Placed second in both the one-meter and three-meter events behind only teammate Courtney Adlam in both of them at the dual meet vs. West Chester....Finished sixth in the one-meter and fifth in the three-meter at the Auburn/Purdue/Virginia/Penn State quad meet....Placed third in the one-meter and fourth in the three-meter at the Arizona State/UCSB/Penn State tri-meet....Came in sixth in the one-meter and fifth in the three-meter at the Arizona/Wisconsin/Penn State tri-meet....Finished second in the one-meter and won the three-meter in her first collegiate meet, the season-opening dual meet vs. West Virginia.
High School: Kimberlee earned four letters in swimming and diving and also participated in track and field and field hockey. She placed sixth at the PIAA state meet in diving as a junior and finished second as a senior. The District III champion in diving in 2001 and 2003, she also holds the District record for for diving scores. On the field, she was the district champion in the pole vault as a junior and also finished fourth in the state. She also holds the school record and the district record in the pole vault and was a Wendy[apos]s High School Heisman state finalist.
Personal: Kimberlee was born on November 7, 1984 in Camp Hill, Pa. and is the daughter of Rick and Connie Peifer. She has an older brother, Nathan, who also attended Penn State. Her father wrestled at Slippery Rock University. Her hobbies include rollerblading, biking and music. Kimberlee is majoring in kinesiology and has career aspirations of being a physical education teacher or a strength training or fitness instructor.
