2009-10 SEASON - FRESHMAN: Named the ITA Atlantic Region Rookie Player of the Year ... Ranked No. 81 in ITA preseason rankings for the first time since 1989 ... Went 8-7 in her first season as a Nittany Lion ... Was as high as No. 66 in the ITA singles ... Won matches against three ranked teams and two ranked opponents ... Defeated No. 42 Michaela Kissell of Marshall, 6-4, 6-2 ... Followed that performance by beating 27th-ranked Pichittra ð'ongdash of Boise State, 6-0, 7-5 ... Continued solid play by beating Ana Bara, of No. 29 Virginia Commonwealth 6-1, 6-0... Also won seven doubles matches, including an 8-4 victory over No. 45 Marshall with partner Maria Prishlyak ...
