Ingrelli, a graduate of Big Ten foe Nebraska, brings 15 years of coaching experience across a multitude of levels. He joined Penn State in August of 2026.
Most recently, Ingrelli served as the head coach at the Salto Gymnastics Center in Waukesha, Wisconsin. Since 2022, he has produced 13 NCAA D1 student-athletes including eight with full scholarships. He served as the primary trainer for Penn State alumnus Matthew Underhill, a multi-time All-American and one of the best rings athletes in recent years. Ingrelli is currently the National Apparatus Leader for still rings.
Another mentee of Ingrelli, Donnell Whittenburg excelled all the way up to the Team USA Men’s National Team. Whittenburg competed on behalf of the Stars and Stripes in eight different years, most recently earning the 2025 World still rings title. He served as an alternate for the 2024 and 2016 Olympic teams.
A Milwaukee, Wisconsin native, Ingrelli was a four-time NCAA event preliminary qualifier and earned All-American honors on the still rings at the 2010 NCAA Championships. In his collegiate career, he posted 12 individual rings titles, including a career high of 15.50 at the MPSF Championships in 2008.
