Meeks joined the Penn State Women's Tennis coaching staff in July 2025. He comes to Happy Valley after one year at Liberty.
He helped guide the Flames to a 12-13 (5-2 Conference USA) record and a semifinals appearance at the Conference USA Women’s Tennis Championship. Liberty saw six student-athletes earn postseason CUSA honors, including the conference’s Freshman of the Year.
Prior to his coaching stint with Liberty, Meeks was the assistant coach at Rice from 2018-24. Under Meeks’ tutelage, the Owls were consistently ranked inside the Top 55 of the ITA rankings. Rice reached No. 27 in 2021 with a 15-7 record. The team won the Conference USA tournament championship in 2019 and were finalists in 2023. Meeks coached multiple NCAA Individual Championships qualifiers in both singles and doubles.
From 2016-18, Meeks served in the same role at New Mexico. The Lobos earned a top eight mid-major recruiting class with Meeks coaching three all-conference honorees.
Meeks entered the coaching ranks as a graduate assistant with Division II Cameron University from 2014-16. At Cameron, he earned Women's ITA South Central Region Assistant Coach of the Year while also helping the men’s program to Elite Eight and Sweet 16 appearances at the NCAA tournament.
Meeks began his collegiate playing career at Tyler Junior College from 2009-11, winning the NJCAA National Championship. He finished his career with Midwestern State University (Division II), becoming an NCAA quarterfinalist and a Lone Star Conference champion. He earned a No. 9 doubles ranking and the Lone Star Conference Newcomer of the Year award.
