Tess McCracken will serve as a student manager for the Penn State Women's Gymanstics program for the 2021 season. McCracken graduated in May 2020 with a degree in science after competing for the Nittany Lions from 2017-20. She is currently pursuing a master's degree in biotechnology.
As a Nittany Lion, McCracken was a four-time Academic All-Big Ten selection, three-time Big Ten Distinguished Scholar and three-time WCGA Academic All-American. As a senior, McCracken was a nominee for the AAI award, given to the nation's most outstanding senior.
McCracken competed in 41 meets at Penn State, including 39 as a member of the bars lineup and 34 in the beam lineup. She earned three career event titles with two on beam and one on bars. McCracken collected career highs of 9.900 on bars and 9.875 on floor. She tallied three scores above a 9.900 on beam, including a career-best 9.950 against Florida in 2020, tying for the 10th-highest beam score in program history.
