Team Camp Enrollment Guidelines
1. Team Representatives
Penn State is committed to providing a safe environment for all employees, students and visitors. We will provide trained staff to assist in making your experience at the event the best experience possible. Penn State Sport Camps are administered by Intercollegiate Athletics in accordance with University policy AD39 (Minors Involved in University-Sponsored Programs) and NCAA rules and regulations.
2. Reporting Suspected Child Abuse
Penn State University requires Team Representatives (Coaches, Chaperones, etc.) that are interacting with minors in a youth program, activity or service, regardless of whether they are responsible for the child's welfare, to review and know the procedures and protocol for reporting suspected child abuse.

As a reminder, all adults accompanying teams participating in this event are the responsibility of the sponsoring club/team/organization.
All adults and minors must follow the instructions of the Penn State staff in complying with the rules and regulations of the event. Any violations of the rules or instructions of the Penn State staff may result in immediate dismissal from the event.
3. Head Injury
Each participant/coach/chaperone/team rep must review the following Sports Health Care information regarding head injury. Visit our Sports Health Care page for more information. If you have any questions, or if we can be of any assistance, please feel free to contact the Penn State Sport Camps office at 814-865-0561.
4. Team Registration
To reserve a team space for Team Camp, the coach/team representative must register online with a refundable deposit. Upon completion of the camp, the deposit will be refunded.
As per Pennsylvania Child Protection Services Law, all adults (coaches/chaperones) participating in any Penn State Youth Team Camp must obtain, and provide documentation of, the required the clearances to interact with children in the state of Pennsylvania.
- Individuals who have resided in the state of Pennsylvania for the entirety of the past 10 years are required to submit a valid PA State Police History, a valid PA Child Abuse Registry clearance and a signed Department of Human Services Disclosure Statement for Volunteers.
- Individuals who reside in the state of Pennsylvania but have not done so for the entirety of the past 10 years are required to submit a valid PA State Police History, a valid PA Child Abuse Registry clearance, and a valid Department of Human Services FBI Clearance.
- Individuals who currently reside out of the state of Pennsylvania must be in compliance with the clearance standards to interact with minors in the state they live and must submit documentation of these clearances.

Enrollment is limited, so early registration is encouraged. Spots for individual campers will be processed on a first-come, first-serve basis until the session is full.

After a team has been registered, the coach/team representative will receive a confirmation e-mail.
- Coach/Team Representative - Provide each camper a personal team link received from SportCampInfo@psu.edu.
- Extra Coach - An add-on fee must be paid up front by the Coach/Team Rep for each extra coach attending the camp.
- Campers - Parents register campers using the personal team link provided by the Coach to ensure that their child is placed on the correct team.

5. Camper Registration
Parents/Legal Guardians must complete all parts of the online registration form using the personal team link provided by the Coach to ensure that their child is placed on the correct team and submit payment.
Campers must have the Participant Form completed online two weeks prior to the first day of camp. Those campers with incomplete forms will not be able to participate in camp.
Enrollment is limited, so early registration is encouraged. Please provide an e-mail address that is used on a daily basis. Those campers accepted will receive an e-mail acknowledgment and notification of any program changes by e-mail. This e-mail will include all information you will need for camp. There will be no walk-in registrations on the day the camp begins.
