Penn State Athletics announced the creation of ROAR Solutions, a powerful, dynamic group of resources assembled to deliver the best student-athlete endorsement and support in the country. By combining power of the Penn State Athletics brand with the brands of our world-class student-athletes, ROAR Solutions will help each of our student-athletes uniquely tell their stories and propel their careers forward.

ROAR Solutions is a conglomerate of five resources focused on forging brand partnerships. Roar Solutions will serve as a central hub, creating meaningful and impactful connections. Its mission is to engage, empower and maximize the student-athlete experience at Penn State, supporting their success both on and off the field.

The five core initiatives powering ROAR Solutions are: Nittany Lion Club Sport Excellence Funds, The Brand Academy, DisruptU, Happy Valley United and Playfly Max.

The Brand Academy is a collaboration with Penn State Athletics and Invent Penn State to support student-athletes with brand-driven businesses to manage and monetize their personal brand and support their entrepreneurial interests. The Brand Academy provides comprehensive programming designed to provided student-athletes with the tools and resources necessary to maximize their brands.

The Nittany Lion Club is the philanthropic arm of Penn State Athletics driving annual support for scholarships, capital projects, and excellence funds for Penn State’s 31 sports programs. The House vs. NCAA decision marks a new era in college athletics, eliminating NCAA scholarship limits and enabling Penn State to support more student-athletes across all 31 sports. Sport Excellence Funds are designed to empower head coaches with the resources needed to address their most immediate strategic priorities, positioning their teams to compete for championships.
