The main priority of our sport camp programs is the health, safety and well-being of our participants, student-athletes, coaches, and staff. 

All potential applicants to our youth residential programs are encouraged to regularly check our updated information and expectations, which may be subject to change.

Online registration ends 2 days prior to the first day of camp, unless the camp is full.

Day Camp, June 17-21
Grades 1-8
 
Day Camp is designed to focus on the fundamentals of the game while providing a fun atmosphere! Under the direction of Head Coach Carolyn Kieger, the Penn State Lady Lion basketball staff and current and former players, the campers are taught the same offensive and defensive skills, drills and team methods that our Penn State players use to develop their games.  Learn how the Lady Lions train and practice. This camp will focus on the fundamentals and skills it takes to master all aspects of the game.
 
Workouts will run from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. each day. The campers will be divided by age to provide an appropriate learning environment. Team concepts will be stressed during 5-on-5 and 2-on-2 competition. There will also be fun and competitive contests throughout the week, with chances to win prizes.
  
The campers are asked to bring their lunch each day; pizza will be provided on the last day.  This camp will take place at the Multi-Sport Facility (MSF) & Intramural (IM) facility on the Penn State campus. Each camper receives a reversible and evaluation card.

Fee:  $340 per camper (includes instruction, reversible, lunch on last day, no housing)
***DAY CAMP ONLY/NO HOUSING

Early Bird Fee:  $305 per camper (Submit online by May 20, 2024)

Penn State Employee Fee: $300 per camper
***To be eligible for the Penn State Employee fee per NCAA regulations, the camper must be a child of the Penn State employee completing the registration online. There is no limit to the number of campers enrolled by one Penn State employee provided that all campers being enrolled are children of the Penn State employee who is completing the registration online and providing the payment.

Meals: Bring your own lunch each day.  Pizza will be provided on the last day. Gatorade and water will be provided.
 



Elite High School Camp, August 3
Grades 9-12 (Varsity experience recommended)
 
Elite High School Camp is designed for the athlete who is serious about raising her game and playing at the collegiate level. The Lady Lion coaching staff will provide high intensity drills designed for the player looking to fine tune her offensive skill level. The advanced instruction will place an emphasis on offense, with breakdown work on specific skills for guard and post play. All offensive fundamentals will be addressed, such as shooting, dribbling, passing, cutting, screening, and getting open.  Each camper receives a camp shirt.

NOTE: There will be two sessions; each contains the same instruction and format.

AM Session / 9 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

PM Session / 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Both Sessions / 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. (Lunch included)

Fees:  Include instruction, games, camp shirt, lunch (Both Sessions only)

AM Session / $50 day camper
PM Session / $50 day camper
Both Sessions / $90 day camper (Lunch included)

Meal: Lunch will be provided for those campers who register for both sessions.
 

What to Bring for Camp
Campers should bring a fielder's glove, batting gloves, a baseball cap, bat (if possible), batting helmet (if possible), spikes and tennis shoes. Catchers should bring all necessary gear, including shin guards, chest protectors and masks. Personal equipment will not be shared. Also, campers should bring a water bottle to refill during camp.
