Men's Basketball Takes On #19 Ohio State Saturday at the Jordan Center

Geary Claxton and the Nittany Lions will take on No. 19 Ohio State at 12 p.m. Saturday in the Bryce Jordan Center. Fans can watch the game live on ESPNU and WWCP-TV (Fox 8). The first 2,000 fans to arrive will receive a magnetic picture frame and all fans are encouraged to bring a camera for pictures with the Nittany Lions following the game.

University Park, Pa., Jan. 20, 2006 - Penn State (10-5; 2-2 Big Ten), fresh off a 20-point victory over Purdue, will take on No. 19 Ohio State (13-2; 3-2 Big Ten) at 12 p.m. Saturday in the Bryce Jordan Center. The game can be seen live on ESPNU and WWCP-TV (Fox 8). The first 2,000 fans to arrive will receive a magnetic picture frame and all fans are encouraged to bring a camera for pictures with the Nittany Lions following the game. Crowd favorite Dan Menendez, who plays the piano by bouncing rubber balls, will entertain at halftime.

Geary Claxton posted his fourth double-double of the season with 20 points and 10 rebounds against Purdue and is one of three players ranked in the top 10 in scoring and rebounding in the Big Ten. Claxton and leading Big Ten freshman scorer Jamelle Cornley (13.4 ppg) will look to avenge a 104-69 loss to the Buckeyes in Columbus earlier this season.

Ohio State is coming off a 77-67 victory over No. 15 Wisconsin in Columbus on Wednesday. The Buckeyes are led by four senior starters including Ke'Jel Foster, who averages 14.3 ppg.
