ANN ARBOR, Mich.; May 25, 2007 - Penn State will look to stave off elimination for one more day on Friday beginning with a noon game against the host and No. 1 seed Michigan. The Wolverines were upset by sixth-seeded Ohio State in the final game of Thursday's action, sending them to the losers' bracket on Friday.

If the Nittany Lions were to defeat the No. 23-ranked Wolverines tomorrow, then they would move on to another elimination game against fifth-seeded Illinois 30 minutes after the conclusion of the first game or at 3:35 p.m. Penn State and Illinois have not met since the 2005 season due to the rotation of the Big Ten schedule. Illinois is also facing elimination after losing to Minnesota in the second game on Thursday.
