Penn State Women's Golf Ready for Lady Buckeye

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - The Penn State women's golf team will head to Columbus, Ohio this weekend to take part in the 29th Annual Lady Buckeye Invitational. Play will take place on Saturday and Sunday, April 18 and 19, on the Scarlet Course at The Ohio State University Golf Club.

The starting lineup for the Nittany Lions will be junior Katherine Murphy (Portsmouth, R.I.), sophomore Giulia Carando (Torino, Italy), sophomore Victoria Arena (Lansdale, Pa.), sophomore Kelly Osborne (Ballwin, Mo.), and sophomore Brianna Malcolmson (Murwillumbah, Australia), who recently shot a career-low round of 67 at the Canes and Cardinals Classic.

In addition to Penn State, there will be 14 other teams participating in the invitational: Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kansas State, Kent State, Michigan State, Minnesota, Nebraska, Northwestern, Ohio State, Rollins, Washington, and Wisconsin.

The Scarlet Course is 6,228 yards with a par of 72. Each day will begin with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m., with 36 holes on Saturday and 18 holes on Sunday.
