Each week throughout the year, www.GoPSUsports.com, will provide updates on the exploits of these former Nittany Lion greats. Highlights from week three of the 2009 season include Detroit Lions receiver Bryant Johnson catching four passes for 73 yards, including a 21-yard touchdown reception, in a historic win and NFL debuts for Cameron Wake and Derrick Williams.
Anthony Adams, DT, Chicago Bears

Entrenched as the Bears' starting nose tackle, Adams led all Chicago defensive lineman with four tackles, all solos. He also recorded one sack for a loss of eight yards and had one pass defensed.

Alford was placed on injured reserve after undergoing surgery to repair a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his knee. He will miss the entire 2009 season.

Brown started at right tackle, blocking for Cardinals' starting quarterback Kurt Warner as he threw for 332 yards.

Ohrnberger was designated as inactive for the game. He is listed as the second team right guard on the Patriots' depth chart.

Posluszny, who suffered a broken arm in a week one loss to New England, was inactive for Sunday's game with the Saints. He had surgery two weeks ago to insert a plate in his arm and is continuing with cardio workouts. The former All-American at Penn State is expected to miss as many as six games while recovering.

Robinson caught one pass for eight yards and had one special teams tackle. The former All-Big Ten quarterback also made a heads up play late in the game, fair catching a kickoff with two seconds remaining, thereby giving the 49ers one final shot at completing a Hail Mary pass.

Sargeant suffered a knee injury in the preseason and was placed on the Bills' injured reserve list.
