Following three days and four rounds of golf at the Big Ten Championships in Madison, Wis., the Nittany Lions have finished the season in 10th place in the conference. Penn State's fourth round score dropped off from its third round score of 309, as the team carded a 324 in the final round. The Nittany Lions finished the tournament with 1242 (304-305-309-324) overall strokes in the tournament (+90).

Freshman Hanule Seo (St. Louis, Mo.) jumped six spots in the final round, leaving her in a tie for 32nd place, as she finished the tournament with a score of 308 (79-76-76-77) for a +20. Her 72-hole score of 308 ties Lisa Francisco's Big Ten Championship total from 1998 for seventh-best in school history.

Senior Lindsay Cullen (Allen, Texas) shot an 83 in the final round, giving her a 311 (76-77-75-83) and a 40th place finish. Freshman Emily Ransone (Hilliard, Ohio) followed two strokes behind Cullen with a 313 (72-78-78-85) and earned 43rd place.

The juniors rounded out the field for Penn State. Gia Fanelli (West Palm Beach, Fla.) finished the tournament with a 318. Brianna Malcolmson (Murwillumbah, Australia) recorded a 319 while Giulia Carando (Torino, Italy) carded a 323.

Purdue notched its third straight conference championship as it held on to first place with a tournament total of 1158 (289-282-294-293) strokes, setting a new Big Ten Championship record. The tournament title is also Purdue's fourth in the last five seasons.

Laura Gonzalez of Purdue jumped ahead of Michigan's Ashley Bauer in the final round of play, as she recorded the only sub-par round on the final day with a score of 69. She carded rounds of 72-70-70-69 (280), also breaking an individual Big Ten record by one stroke, which was set by Purdue's Maria Hernandez in 2008. Michigan's Ashley Bauer finished in second place after setting a Big Ten record 65 in the second round of play.
