UNIVERSITY PARK, PA. - The Penn State Lady Lions announced today that they will have 14 games streamed live on BigTenNetwork.com this season. Additionally, Penn State's game against intrastate rival Bucknell on Tues., Dec. 28 will be televised nationally on the Big Ten Network at 7 p.m. The Lady Lions will receive unprecedented coverage this season with the final 22 games of the season either televised or on BigTenNetwork.com.
Nine of Penn State's home games will appear on BigTenNetwork.com and five of their road Big Ten games will be streamed live on the Big Ten Network website. The games will be available through a variety of streaming packages. The conference pass annually gives access to every Big Ten Network streaming event (volleyball, men's & women's basketball, wrestling) for every Big Ten school for the 2010-11 school year for $99.95. The school pass annually allows fans to pick their favorite team and enjoy that school's streaming events through the 2010-11 school year for $64.95. The conference pass monthly gives access to every Big Ten Network streaming event for every Big Ten school for the 2010-11 school year on a month-by-month basis for $12.95 per month. The addition of the Bucknell game to the Big Ten Network women's basketball television package brings Penn State's number of national television appearances for the 2010-11 season to nine with eight games on the Big Ten Network and one contest on ESPN2.

The Lady Lions, who will face Gannon in an exhibition on Sun., Nov. 7, open their season on the road at Dayton on Fri., Nov. 12. Penn State then faces Rider in its home opener on Sun., Nov. 14. 2010-11 Lady Lion Basketball season tickets are available by calling 814-867-2557. Season tickets are $117 for adults, $52 for youth and $91 for seniors. The PNC Flex Books are available again this year for $99. The Flex Book gives fans 10 vouchers that can be redeemed for Nittany Lion and Lady Lion Basketball tickets in any combination.
The 2011 WBCA Pink Zone at Penn State will take place on Sunday, Feb. 27 at noon as the Lady Lions take on Northwestern in the Bryce Jordan Center. The game can be seen on the Big Ten Network. Last year, the Lady Lions donated more than $80,000 for breast cancer causes. This year's fundraising efforts will benefit the Mount Nittany Medical Center, Penn State Hershey Cancer Institute, Pennsylvania Breast Cancer Coalition and the Kay Yow/WBCA Cancer Fund.
