UNIVERSITY PARK, PA. - Coming off of their first NCAA Tournament win in seven years, the No. 6 seeded Penn State Lady Lions (25-9, 11-5) continue their postseason march against No. 3 seed DePaul (28-6, 13-3 Big East) in the Second Round of the NCAA Tournament Monday at 7 p.m. in the Bryce Jordan Center. The first 100 Penn State students will get in for free at Gate A with their ID, courtesy of the Lady Lion Cager Club. The game will be televised on ESPNU and ESPN2, based on a coverage map, or on ESPN3.com. The winner of Monday's game will advance to the Sweet Sixteen to face the winner of the Duke-Marist game in Philadelphia on Sunday, March 27.

Tickets for Monday's 2011 NCAA Women's Basketball Tournament Second Round game are now available and can be purchased by calling 814-865-5555 or visiting the Bryce Jordan Center ticket office on Monday beginning at 10 a.m. Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for youth and students. Groups of 20 or more can purchase single-session tickets for $8 each. The first 100 Penn State students will get in for free for Monday's game, courtesy of the Lady Lion Cager Club.

The Lady Lions used a 25-point performance from sophomore guard Alex Bentley (Indianapolis, Ind.) to post their first NCAA Tournament win since 2003-04 with a 75-66 decision over No. 11 seed Dayton (21-12) Saturday. Penn State is now a perfect 9-0 in NCAA Tournament games in the Bryce Jordan Center. Bentley connected on 12 field goal attempts en route to her game-high 25 points. Sophomore forward Mia Nickson (Ashburn, Va.) posted her sixth double-double of the season with 14 points and 10 rebounds. She was a perfect 6-for-6 from the free throw line.

The Blue Demons advanced with a hard-fought 56-43 win over No. 14 seed Navy Saturday. Felicia Chester had a double-double for DePaul with 12 points and 10 rebounds to go along with four assists and six steals. Anna Martin and Katherine Harry added 10 tallies each to help the Blue Demon cause.

The Blue Demons are ranked 12th in the Associated Press Poll and 10th in the ESPN/USA Today Coaches Poll. DePaul are 28-6 overall record and 13-3 mark in Big East play. Keisha Hampton paces five Blue Demon players averaging double figures with a 15.8 scoring mark. Felicia Chester accounts for 11.3 points and a team-best 6.6 rebounds per game, while Anna Martin (10.9 ppg) and Sam Quigley (10.2 ppg) also average double-digits.

The Lady Lions are a perfect 4-0 all-time against DePaul, including a 2-0 mark in home games. The squads last met Dec. 30, 1992 when Penn state picked up an 85-78 win in Chicago. Penn State and DePaul have met once in NCAA Tournament play with the Lady Lions claiming a 77-54 win at University Park in the second round of the 1992 NCAA tourney.

  • The Lady Lions are 27-21 all-time in the NCAA Tournament, including a 17-4 mark in home games.
  • Penn State picked up its first NCAA Tournament win since 2003-04 with a 75-66 win over Dayton Saturday.

  • Alex Bentley attempted 28 field goals against the Flyers, the most field goal attempts by a Penn State player in the NCAA Tournament, besting the mark of 26 set by Kelly Mazzante against Florida International on March 17, 2002.
  • Mia Nickson recorded her sixth double-double of the season with 14 points and 10 rebounds.
