EAST HAULS IN BOARDS: Talia East continued her solid play with another career-best rebounding effort at Delaware Thursday. The sophomore center snared a personal-best 11 rebounds for the first double figure rebounding performance of her career. She also added eight rebounds and a pair of blocked shots versus the Blue Hens.
EDWARDS GETS THE NOD: Sophomore Ariel Edwards earned her first career start at Delaware Thursday in place of an ailing Mia Nickson. PAIR REACHES 600 POINTS: Senior guard Zhaque Gray and sophomore guard Maggie Lucas both reached the 600-point plateau for their careers at Delaware Thursday. Gray's 15 points brought her career total to 601, while Lucas' 12 tallies gave her an even 600 markers for her career. Lucas reached 600 points in 38 games, making her the third-fastest player in school history to reach 600 points (Kelly Mazzante and Susan Robinson, 33 games).
BENTLEY TIES PERSONAL ASSISTS MARK: Junior guard Alex Bentley narrowly missed out on her first career double-double with 20 points and nine assists at Delaware Thursday. The nine helpers tie Bentley's career high, which she has reached four times in her career. She also added three steals and three rebounds on the night.
