UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - The Penn State men's hockey team will return to Greenberg Ice Pavilion this weekend for a pair of exhibition matchups against the American Collegiate Hockey Association's Arizona State Sun Devils. Opening faceoff for both Friday and Saturday is set at 7:30 p.m.
For five-game package holders, Friday night's game is part of Package A, while Saturday's contest is from Package C. A limited amount of standing-room only and student tickets are available for both games and can be purchased by visiting the Bryce Jordan Center Athletic Ticket Office.
PARKING
Fans attending this weekend's games are able to park in Orange Lots C, F and G. Orange Lot H is also available on the east side of University Drive (see map). A courtesy shuttle will be available for fans and media members that will originate from Orange H. Parking is free for all men's hockey games.
GIVEAWAYS
All students who sign in at the Code Blue table will receive a Penn State Hockey ski cap. In addition, fans who inquire about Pegula Ice Arena tickets at the IMG table will receive a Pegula Ice Arena water bottle.

SCOUTING ARIZONA STATE
The Sun Devils compete as a Division I club team in the American Collegiate Hockey Association. Arizona State (18-0-0) will enter the weekend as the nation's No. 1-ranked club team. Penn State and Arizona State share one common opponent (Oklahoma) on their 2012-13 schedules. The Sun Devils are 2-0-0 against the Sooners, while Penn State will play Oklahoma Feb. 15-16.
ACHA HISTORY
Penn State, which competed as a club program from 1971-2012, held an all-time record of 13-1-0 against the Sun Devils.
SKOFF SETS CAREER HIGHS IN CONSECUTIVE STARTS
Freshman goaltender Matthew Skoff set career highs in consecutive starts against then-No. 8 Union Nov. 24-25. The McKees Rocks, Pa., native stopped a career-best 40 shots against the Dutchmen Saturday, Nov. 24 before setting a new career high with 42 saves Sunday, Nov. 25.
PENALTY KILL SUCCESS
After surrendering six power-play goals in 19 chances to open the season, the Penn State penalty kill has gone 33-for-36 (.917) during the last seven games.
SPREADING THE WEALTH
Penn State has had five different goal scorers in three games this season (10/26 at Army, 10/27 at Sacred Heart, 11/10 vs. Air Force). Fifteen players have recorded at least two points, while 18 Nittany Lions have reached the scoresheet this season.
MODELS OF CONSISTENCY
Freshman David Glen (7g, 4a) has recorded at least one point in seven games this season, while linemate Kenny Brooks (1g, 5a) and sophomore Max Gardiner (2g, 7a) have recorded at least one point in six games.
Freshman Curtis Loik and classmate Casey Bailey have notched at least one point in five games. Glen (3g, 4a) and Loik (2g, 2a) recorded team-leading four-game point-scoring streaks from Oct. 20-Nov. 3.
LIONS IN THE NCAA
As of Nov. 26, freshman David Glen ranks fifth among the nation's rookies with 1.00 point per game, and classmate Matthew Skoff ranks 12th in the country in save percentage (.934). The Nittany Lions average the second-most penalty minutes per game (17.5).
LAST TIME OUT
Penn State fell in back-to-back games for the first time with a pair of losses to No. 8 Union in Schenectady, N.Y. The Nittany Lions fell to Union, 2-0, Saturday, Nov. 24 and by a 4-1 score Sunday, Nov. 25. Freshman forward David Glen scored the Nittany Lions' lone goal of the weekend.
LIONS INK FIVE TO NATIONAL LETTERS OF INTENT
Head coach Guy Gadowsky announced Wednesday the addition of five future Penn State student-athletes who signed National Letters of Intent during the November early-signing period. All five individuals will join the Nittany Lions for the 2013-14 season.
The additions include forwards David Goodwin (St. Louis, Mo.), Zach Saar (Plainwell, Mich.) and Eric Scheid (Blaine, Minn.), defenseman David Thompson (Glen Mills, Pa.) and goaltender Eamon McAdam (Perkasie, Pa.).
Goodwin (Sioux City), McAdam (Waterloo), Saar (Des Moines) and Scheid (Lincoln) all hail from the Unites States Hockey League, while Thompson patrols the blue line for the British Columbia Hockey League's Chilliwack Chiefs. A Blaine, Minn., native, Scheid will represent the class' only sophomore after playing with Alaska Anchorage in 2011-12.
LOOKING AHEAD
After their weekend series against Arizona State, the Nittany Lions will travel to Worcester, Mass., for a two-game series against Atlantic Hockey foe Holy Cross Dec. 7-8.
