Zach Zwinak Chosen as Ironman of the Game for Purdue Contest

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -

Running back Zach Zwinak (Frederick, Md) has been named this week's Iron Workers Local Union No.3 "Ironman of the Game" for the third time this season. Zwinak logged 149 yards and three touchdowns in the match-up with Purdue. He initially set his career-best of three touchdowns in the game against UCF earlier this season.

Zwinak totals at 12 touchdowns and 725 yards so far this season. He has started six games with appearances in the other four.

The running back was the 22nd Nittany Lion to achieve a 1,000-yard rushing season in Penn State history in the 2012 season. In addition, he was an honorable mention All-Big Ten selection. He ran for a total of 1,177 all-purpose yards and six touchdowns that season.
