UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - Moving up to No. 4 in the national rankings, the Penn State field hockey team travels to No. 15 Iowa to take on the Hawkeyes on Saturday, Oct. 25 at 2 p.m. ET. The game is scheduled to be broadcast on BTN Plus.

Iowa Notes
- The Hawkeyes, ranked No. 15 in the most recent NFHCA Poll, are 10-5 with a 3-3 mark in conference play this season.
- Iowa has three ranked wins this season, including then-No. 11 Wake Forest (Aug. 30), then-No. 6 Virginia (Sept. 4) and then-No. 17 Indiana (Sept. 26). Most recently, the squad downed Ohio State, 4-2, on Oct. 19 and lost at Michigan State, 2-0, on Oct. 17.
- Offensively, the Hawkeyes rank ninth nationally with a 4.50 goals per game average. They have two of the top goal-scorers in the country, as Natalie Cafone is fourth with 1.13 goals per game and Stephanie Norlander is sixth with 0.93. Cafone has 17 goals and 39 points, while Norlander has 14 goals.
- Lisa Cellucci is in her 15th season as the head coach.

Series History
Penn State is 22-25-1 all-time against Iowa in a series that dates back to 1981. Last season, Penn State lost to Iowa at the Big Ten Tournament, 4-3 (OT) on Nov. 8. Penn State won the previous four matchups, including a 2-1 regular season win on the road last season.

Last Time Out
On Senior Day, the No. 5 Penn State field hockey team topped No. 18 Indiana, 2-1, at the Field Hockey Complex on Oct. 19. Seniors Laura Gebhart (Mount Joy, Pa.) and Taylor Herold (Fredericksburg, Va.) scored the goals for the Nittany Lions. Penn State started the weekend with a 3-0 shutout of Rutgers on Oct. 17, its fifth shutout of the season.

Herold Moving up Goals List
Herold reached the 100-point mark with a goal and two assists at Ohio State (Sept. 28), giving her 100 career points. She has 50 goals and 16 assists for her career. Her 50 goals are tied for ninth on Penn State's all-time list with head coach Charlene Morett-Curtiss. Herold is five goals away from being tied for eighth with 55.

Herold's Heroics
Herold posted three goals, all in the second half, against No. 14 Princeton on Sept. 12. It marked her first career hat trick. Against Ohio State (Sept. 28), she had a career-high two assists. Scoring a goal in nine of the last 10 games, she is first on the team with 39 points, 16 goals and seven assists. Herold has four multi-goal games this season. The senior ranks fifth nationally in goals per game (1.00).

Gebhart on the Assist
Currently, Gebhart has 44 assists, which are two away from tying her for seventh on Penn State's all-time list and three from tying her for sixth. She is second on the team with six assists.

The Katies Hold Down the Defense
Senior backs Katie Andrews (Lancaster, Pa.) and Katie Breneman (Washington Boro, Pa.) lead a defense that is ninth nationally with a 1.17 goals against average. Breneman has started 57 games in her career and Andrews has started 46. This season, Andrews has played 70-plus minutes on 15 occasions, while Breneman has done it 14 times in 16 games.

Atop the Attendance List
Penn State is third nationally in total attendance this season, having 3,879 fans watch its home games, averaging 431 per contest. The only teams ahead of Penn State are Michigan at No. 2 and Maryland at No. 1.

Coming up with Corners
The Nittany Lions ranked seventh nationally with 8.06 penalty corners per game. The squad has had 12 or more on four separate occasions, including a season-high 16 against Lock Haven.
