Nittany Lion Club Single Game Ticket Prices Announced for 2015 Football Season

March 2, 2015

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - Nittany Lion Club single game football ticket prices were announced today by Penn State Athletics and reflect variable prices and the benefit of membership in the Nittany Lion Club.

The variable pricing structure continues to ensure Nittany Lion Club members will not only have their own exclusive pre-sale, but will also have access to prices lower than the general public throughout the season. Variable pricing does not affect Nittany Lion Club donations.

Introduced last year by Penn State, variable pricing determines individual game prices from many factors, including the expected demand for that game, and provides more pricing choices for Nittany Lion fans. Season football tickets, which are on sale for the 2015 campaign, remain the best value for Penn State fans for the seven-game home schedule, with savings of up to 15 percent over single game prices.

As an example of the benefits of Nittany Lion Club membership, midfield single game seats in the Black Zone for the Michigan and Rutgers games will be $120 for NLC members and $200 for the public, if public tickets for either game remain available when the public sale begins in July. Nittany Lion Club members will have an opportunity to buy single game tickets for the October 10 Homecoming contest against Indiana ranging from $70-100, while the public price is $80-150 for the Homecoming game.

The 2015 campaign also includes three games for Coach James Franklin's team early in the season priced as low as $40. The Nittany Lion Club exclusive single game pre-sale is tentatively scheduled to begin in May. Ticket locations at that time will be on a first-come, first-served basis.

"Nittany Lion Club members make a tremendous impact in supporting our student-athletes both financially and cheering them on in competition," said Mark Wharton, Assistant Athletics Director, Nittany Lion Club. "Again this year, the NLC's reduced single game football ticket prices reflect a significant benefit of membership compared to public pricing. We are in the top echelon for fan support in college football because of the passionate and loyal attendance of Nittany Lion Club members. We will be counting on NLC members to be a difference maker in Beaver Stadium again this fall."
