UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - The 2015 Penn State student football season ticket sale is off to another sold out start, as the senior and junior classes and graduate students have exhausted their allotments during the first two days of the sale. The junior class sold out their allotment on Tuesday in a little over an hour, according to Jeff Garner, Assistant Athletics Director for Ticketing Sales and Service.
The sophomore class sale will begin Wednesday, June 24 at 7 a.m. and the incoming freshmen will close the student sale Thursday, June 25 starting at 7 a.m.
"Our students are one of the largest and loudest student sections in college football and continue to show their Penn State pride during this year's student season ticket sale," Garner said. "The South end zone will be full again this fall as our grad student, seniors, and juniors successfully sold out their ticket allotments in near record times. Most importantly, we appreciate and thank our students for their support of the Nittany Lions. We are excited to see what the sophomore and freshman classes can do Wednesday and Thursday."
Eligibility and the daily schedule are posted at Student Central: www.GoPSUsports.com/studentcentral.
Intercollegiate Athletics recommends that all students eligible to participate thoroughly review all sale instructions before their assigned ticket sale date.
