UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - Penn State baseball fans, friends and alumni will have an early opportunity to reconnect and meet the 2015-16 team, as the program will host a golf event Saturday, August 29 at the Mountain View Country Club in nearby Boalsburg, Pa.
The deadline to register for the event is Aug. 22, but interested parties are encouraged to register early as the golf tournament is limited to the first 144 registrants.
The action on the course is slated to begin at 9:00 a.m. with a shotgun start. A lunch buffet will then be served at the Mountain View Ballroom and Patio at 1:30 p.m., which will include an opportunity to meet next season's team and a silent auction to benefit the program.
Individuals can register for the golf outing and lunch buffet for $125, while foursomes can register for both for $100 per player. A lunch buffet only option is also available for $25, and individual holes can be sponsored for $125.
To register for the event, print the linked form, fill-in the required fields and mail it with payment to the Varsity 'S' Club.
