UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - A total of 25 Penn State football alumni are populating the active rosters of 18 National Football League teams. The Nittany Lions annually are among the top 20 programs nationally in producing players in the NFL. Each week throughout the year, GoPSUsports.com will provide updates on the exploits of these former Nittany Lion greats.

Allen Robinson and Navorro Bowman had big games in Week 5, while Robbie Gould broke a franchise record. Robinson had seven receptions for 72 yards and two touchdowns against the Buccaneers. He is 12th in the NFL with 402 receiving yards. Bowman had a season-high 16 tackles, including 13 solo against the Packers. Bowman is 6th in the NFL with 44 tackles. Gould became the Chicago Bears' all-time leading scorer with 1,118 points, passing the mark set by Kevin Butler.

Gould made both field goal attempts, including a 44-yard kick, in the Bears win over the Chiefs. With his field goal in the third quarter, Gould became the Chicago Bears' all-time leading scorer with 1,118 points in his 11-year career. He passes the mark of 1,116 set by Kevin Butler. Gould is also the team's all-time leader in field goals (254), field goals of 50 or more yards (19) and longest field goal (58).

Posluszny was inactive against the Buccaneers because of an ankle sprain in last week's game against the Colts. He is tied for 19th in the NFL in tackles with 39 stops.

Quarless was placed on injured reserved/designated to return. He is eligible to return Thanksgiving night against the Bears. Quarless suffered a sprain knee in Week 3 against the Chiefs.

He also ranks sixth in the league in yards per reception (18.3) among players with 10 or more catches.
