Members of the Penn State and local communities will have an opportunity to hear about some of the findings of Intercollegiate Athletics' strategic planning process during a series of town hall-style meetings.
A trio of public Town Hall meetings are set with Director of Athletics Sandy Barbour and members of ICA's Leadership Team to visit with Penn State students, faculty and staff and members of the local community.
Attendees will hear about some of the initial findings of a wide-ranging strategic planning project and have the opportunity to ask questions. The project will help determine strategies and priorities for the period of 2016-20 and beyond for the Nittany Lions' comprehensive 31-sport program.
Penn State has engaged a variety of constituencies during the strategic planning process, with more than 1,000 individuals providing feedback.
The Town Hall meetings are:
Students: Monday, Oct. 19 - HUB Auditorium, 7 p.m. (Valid Penn State Student ID required). Doors open at 6:30 p.m.
Faculty and Staff: Thursday, Oct. 22 ââ'¬" 101 Thomas Bldg., 4:00 p.m. Doors open at 3:45 p.m.
Alumni and Public: Wednesday, Nov. 4 - Rec Hall, 7:00 p.m. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. (No back packs are permitted; all bags subject to search per ICA bag policy).
