Despite double figure scoring from five Nittany Lions, Penn State (2-2) fell short in an 86-54 decision to Radford (4-2) Tuesday evening at the Bryce Jordan Center.

There were four ties and 17 lead changes in the game.

Jones and Anderson scored eight points apiece during a 22-9 run the Highlanders used to take control with 8:03 to play. Penn State chipped away and made it a two-possession game with 3:36 left but Davis hit his second 3-pointer with 3:17 remaining to put it out of reach.

Julian Moore led a group of five Nittany Lion double digit scorers with a career-high 16 points. Brandon Taylor finished with 15 points, including a 2-for-3 mark from three point range. Shep Garner tallied 11 points to go along with a career-high eight assists.

Senior Devin Foster and Payton Banks posted 10 points each. Foster was 4-for-5 from the field and sunk both attempts from behind the arc for a career-high tally. Banks led the team with eight boards.

Cameron Jones made five 3-pointers and scored 23 points. Rashun Davis added 18 points and YaYa Anderson scored 14 points, including four 3-pointers, for Radford. Brandon Holcomb had 10 points and 11 rebounds for the Highlanders, who made 12 of 22 3-pointers.

Penn State hosts Bucknell on Saturday, Nov. 28 at 1 p.m. in the Bryce Jordan Center.
