PRINCETON, N.J. -- Despite 36 saves from Hannah Ehresmann (Minnetonka, Minn.) and a two-goal outing from Hannah Bramm (Tampa, Fla.), Penn State's upset bid against No. 10 Princeton fell short, 3-2, Saturday afternoon at the Hobey Baker Rink.

Ehresmann followed up her 38-save performance from last night with 36 saves Saturday giving her a total of 74 saves in the series.

In the second period, Bramm gave the Nittany Lions (4-12-4, 1-3-4 CHA) a 1-0 lead at the 10:58 mark. Kelsey Crow (Minnetonka, Minn.) and Emily Laurenzi (Townsend, Del.) were credited with assists on the Bramm goal. Bramm's goal Saturday was her third in the last six games.

The Tigers (11-4-1, 5-4-1 ECAC) responded with a goal of their own shortly after the Bramm goal. One minute and 24 seconds later, Kelsey Koelzer netted her second goal of the series to even the score at one.

Heading into second intermission, Princeton held a shot advantage of 23-12 as both teams were able to find the back of net once.

Princeton scored two goals in the final period to take a 3-1 lead with less than a minute to play in regulation.

In the third period for Princeton, Morgan Sly posted her sixth goal of the season at the 5:33 mark and with 52 seconds left in regulation, Jaimie McDonell tallied her second goal of the 2015-16 campaign.

Though the Nittany Lions were not done as Bramm tallied her second goal of the contest, and fifth of the season, with 18 seconds left on the clock. Bella Sutton (Shoreview, Minn.) and Laura Bowman (Minnetonka, Minn.) were credited with assists on the Bramm goal.

The Tigers were able to hold off the Nittany Lion attack in the final seconds of regulation securing a 3-2 victory.

Bramm's two-goal performance was the first of her career as a Nittany Lion and marks the second time this season a member of the Penn State women's hockey team tallied two or more goals in a game.

Penn State held Princeton to a 0-for-6 performance on the power play, while Penn State went 0-for-3.

The Nittany Lions return to the ice on Jan. 2, 2016, against Ohio State in Columbus, Ohio.
