UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa.
- Nittany Lion Track & Field will travel to Gainesville, Fla. to take part in the 2016 Florida Relays on the campus of the University of Florida Friday and Saturday April 1-2.

Penn State will take part in the the Pepsi Florida Relays, which has been one of the nation's premier track and field events year after year, and this year will be no different.

In addition to the collegiate competition, which features eight men's teams and 10 women's teams ranked in the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association Computer Rankings, numerous professional clubs, past Olympians and World Champions, and Olympic hopefuls from across the globe will take part in the 2016 edition of the meet.

In total, over 270 college, club, and professional teams and another 330-plus high school teams, amounting to over 4,200 competitors, will run at this year's Pepsi Florida Relays.

MID-DISTANCE CREW ON THE MOVE

The Florida Relays will feature outdoor debut's by Robby Creese, Brannon Kidder and Isaiah Harris running the 800-meters, while Jordan Makins will be making his 2016 outdoor debut in the 1500-meters.

NCAA EVENT RANKINGS
Penn State boast several marks that are highly ranked in the nation including junior Dannielle Gibson's NCAA leading mark in the women's triple jump with her mark of 42'-8" (13.00) set this past week at the Pac-12/Big Ten Challenge in Tempe, Ariz.

NO. 19 IN THE LAND

The Penn State men's track & field team enters the outdoor season No. 19 in the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) National Computer Rankings.

Penn State wrapped up the 2015 season ranked as the No. 10 team in the nation and recorded the highest finish in school history since they tied for eighth in 1966.

ON THE ROAD AGAIN
The Nittany Lions are scheduled to compete in nine meets in five states before they return to Happy Valley for the Jim Thorpe Invite (May 6). Following the Jim Thorpe Invite, Penn state will travel to Lincoln, Neb. (Big Ten Outdoors), Jacksonville, Fla. (NCAA First Round) and Eugene, Ore. (NCAA Outdoor Championships)

NEXT TIME OUT
The Nittany Lions travel to the northwest as they take part in the Pepsi Invitational hosted by the University of Oregon at historic Hayward Field April 9.
