Women's Basketball Promotional Schedule Announced for 2016-17

University Park, Pa.; October 27, 2016 -- The Penn State women's basketball team is excited to announce its 2016-17 promotional schedule. Below are details for many of the exciting events, promotions and themed games that will occur at the Bryce Jordan Center this season.

Ticket Promotions

  • The Lady Lions are currently offering three different ticket packages, as well as continuing sales of season tickets and the PNC Flex Book. The promotional plans include the Fall Sports Tour, 6th Man Package and Subway Full Court 4 Pack.
  • A great way to see a variety of Penn State athletic events from Nov. 18-20 comes in the form of the Fall Sports Tour ticket bundle. For only $30, fans can attend men's hockey vs. Arizona State (7 p.m.) on Friday, Nov. 18, women's volleyball vs. Purdue (7 p.m.) on Saturday, Nov. 19 and women's basketball vs. Tennessee (5 p.m.) on Sunday, Nov. 20. A tour t-shirt is also included.
  • The 6th Man Package includes tickets to six Lady Lion games for a discounted price. Opponents include Tennessee, Pitt (Dec. 10), Nebraska (Jan. 19), Illinois (Jan. 29), Purdue (Jan. 11) and Michigan (Feb. 26), and packages range between $40-55.
  • Including four tickets, four subs and four drinks for just $40, the Subway Full Court 4 Pack is a great value for families that want take a break and watch some great basketball.
  • The PNC Flex Book returns for the 2016-17 season. The book consist of 12 total vouchers, including 10 that can be redeemed for either Penn State men's or women's basketball contests. It also contains one voucher each for the Play 4 Kay game benefiting Pink Zone and the Coaches vs. Cancer contest.
  • Season ticket packages are currently on sale, with available season tickets ranging in price from $95 (baseline) to $120 (sideline) and $260 (courtside). Call 1-800-NITTANY to order or for more information.

Kids Zone & Cub Club

  • The new Lady Lion's Kid Zone will be filled with fun activities and giveaways throughout the 2016-17 season. The Kids Zone will be housed in section 114L, adjacent to the Lady Lion bench.
  • Fans should call 1-800-NITTANY or stop by the Bryce Jordan Center box office to purchase tickets to sit in the Kids Zone.
  • Each game will feature a promotion that is unique to the Kids Zone. Check our promotional schedule for more details.
  • The Cub Club is open to children eighth grade or younger for the 2016-17 athletic year and allows free admission to a variety of Penn State athletic events, including selected women's basketball games.

Themed Games

  • Youth Basketball Day -- vs. Tennessee (Nov. 20): A halftime dunk contest will feature five contestants chosen from a pre-game tryout that will take place on the concourse level.
  • Toys for Tots Game -- vs. Marshall (Dec. 3): Penn State basketball has partnered with Centre County Toys for Tots for over 20 years and will offer discounted tickets to anyone that donates a new, unwrapped toy on the day of the game.
  • Faculty/Staff Appreciation Day -- vs. American (Dec. 18): Along with each Lady Lion inviting their favorite professor to join the team on the court pregame.
  • All In at Penn State -- vs. Wisconsin (Jan. 16): Inclusion, togetherness and teamwork are all qualities of a great program, and the Lady Lions want to team up with the recently launched All In at Penn State initiative.
  • White Out the Bryce Jordan Center -- vs. Illinois (Jan. 29): Help Penn State White Out Illinois by packing the Bryce Jordan Center and wearing white.
  • Senior Day -- vs. Purdue (Feb. 11): Join us as we celebrate our three seniors: Kaliyah Mitchell, Sierra Moore, Keke Sevillian and Peyton Whitted. Pre-game ceremony and in-game activities will highlight each student-athlete's career.
  • Play 4 Kay -- vs. Michigan (Feb. 26): Help the Lady Lions pack the Bryce Jordan Center for the nation's premier breast cancer awareness event. The Play 4 Kay game benefitting Pink Zone is the can't-miss event of the season and has raised $1.6 million dollars to support local beneficiaries that promote breast cancer awareness, education and research.
